Over five years of experience in mechanical engineering design and project management, primarily for heavy industrial and mechanical engineering projects, including:

· Machine design and detailing for commercial, heavy industrial, hydroelectric generation and aerospace industries.

· Design & detailing of:

· Piping, tanks, pressure vessels, refrigeration systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems per applicable CSA, ASME & API codes

· Overhead, jib, monorail & gantry crane design, commissioning, repair & re-certification

· Specialized lifting device design, certification and failure analysis

· Material handling and product transfer systems design

· Steel mill roughing, rolling, straightening, shearing, cutting, product transfer and bundling equipment

· Driveline, spindle and gear train system design and upgrading/retrofitting

· Combustion, thermal re-heat, combined cycle, heat transfer and energy conservation analysis

· Material selection/ upgrading

· Weldment design, material selection, fabrication simplification, jig development and cost reduction analysis

· Electromechanical process control logic and systems
